A weekend plan that can bend
Progress over perfection.
A little predictability helps, but weekends do not need a timetable for every minute. Keep room for rest and changes.
Try it together
- Name one outing, one necessary job and one restful activity. Draw them in that order.
- Give two realistic choices for free time. Keep a backup indoor idea in case weather changes.
- Tell your child when the plan changes and acknowledge disappointment before offering the replacement.
Words you could use
“The park is too wet today. That’s disappointing. We can build a den or play a game instead.”
One manageable next step
Make a three-picture plan for your next weekend morning.
