Progress over perfection.

Packing is easier when the list lives beside the bag. The aim is to learn a process, not to shame forgotten items.

Try it together

Use five clear items with drawings or words. Add a space for special-day items.
Let your child touch each item as they tick it, then place the bag by the door.
If something is forgotten, update the process together rather than calling them careless.
